A film essay about 1960s Non-Aligned Movement, the radical formation of “Third World”, the colonial aftermath and ethnic conflicts in Sri Lanka in the second half of 20th century and the revisionist impact of China’s Belt and Road Initiative on contemporary South Asian geopolitical order. It is also a visual inquiry into the related architecture, landscape, sites of trauma and memories and their morphology throughout the vicissitudes of history.
